Got a chance to train all week at Vortex. Amazing location, amazing instruction, and a clean/professional environment. I am a veteran and I appreciate how the owner took the time to personally thank me for my service and offer top notch instruction. Best reception I ever got and a gym I was visiting. I also loved how welcoming they were to a new youth grappler who was just coming in to observe. You can see the quality in the warmth they extend to the little ones just starting out. Just amazing.

I’m still a newbie at this academy, but I am a former martial artist, and this is by far the best decision I made to join Vortex Jiu Jitsu Academy instead of choosing another dojo. Regular dojos to me were a bit cold and structured while this academy is very open, warm and welcoming. The instructors are phenomenal and encouraging while the other students in the classes are understanding and uplifting as well. A hidden gem in Palm Bay.

The family environment is a major highlight, the willingness of the coaches and the more seasoned students to reach out and help any and everyone to better themselves is amazing. It will change your life one class at a time.

This is an amazing school with excellent teachers and students. From the moment you walk through that door they make you feel welcome! Excellent for beginners. I highly recommend it!
